Our little guy loved sleeping in his swaddle until he turned into a baby Houdini and kept getting his arms out of it and getting frustrated. Between that and seeing that he was starting signs of rolling we wanted to get him out of a swaddle but knew going straight to a sleep sack wouldn’t work. When we got him in the swaddle sleep pod we had one rough night of transitioning to it and then it worked like a charm and eliminated a lot of his wakeups from getting frustrated that he broke out of his swaddle!
This product was perfect for our petite little one! She is an active sleeper and at 10 weeks old was already doing 180 degree turns in her crib so we knew we needed to take her out of the swaddle. Her startle reflex was still strong so moving to a sleep sack immediately wasn’t an option and she was still too small for the Magic Merlin. This product came in an extra small which was perfect and since only the arms are padded, it kept her from overheating! And an added bonus is that the inside of the sleep sack has a Velcro strap giving her the snug comfort of a swaddle around her chest. We started with a few supervised naps and once she slept through a whole nap without waking up we tried using it at night, and she slept 7:30pm-5am! Highly recommend this product!
Whien I had to return to work 2 months after childbirth, I needed something quick that would help my baby to learn to sleep at daycare without being swaddled. I took a leap of faith when I bought the half up sleeves sack. It took about 3 nights for him to fully adjust but now he is sleeping just as good as before when he was swaddled. He has a STRONG startle reflex but when I see his arms go up, he doesn’t blink an eye thanks to this product.
This is great for our little one who still can’t have his arms totally out. He sleeps pretty great in it.
I wish I had ordered this a bit sooner to try after the Magic Merlin Suit no longer worked for our little one and sleep bags were offering too much freedom. The quality is nice and is a good option for night sleep. The only thing I would recommend is to make the shipping options more visible when paying via apple pay as it automatically picks the standard shipping and it would have been nice to have this a bit sooner. I also wonder if the company would consider selling this on Amazon to offer customers the 2 free day shipping as all its competitors sell on Amazon and it arrives much faster.
I was on the fence because of the price but baby has been showing signs of rolling (was in the Merlin suit) so wanted to slowly transition to a sleep sack. I should’ve gone straight to swaddle sleeves because it was so easy! We switched cold turkey with no issue. Absolutely love these and plan to use with all of my next babies.
My baby started showing signs of rolling from back to belly shortly after turning 3 months, I tried the one arm out with her regular swaddle, but it wasn’t working, her startle reflex was still too strong and she was up half the night. I found the swaddle sleeves and the first night she slept much better, I could see her startle on the monitor, but the sleeves muffled it and didn’t wake her. She’s been sleeping 6-7 hr stretches! Yay! She can now fully roll over at 4 months and so happy I bought the swaddle sleeves, she can chew her hands if she wants, roll over and be safe. A true lifesaver!
My baby is a sleeper and as new parents we love that. We started swaddling her with 1 arm out during her naps to try to transition her to having her arms out. It was not going well. She would only sleep for 30 minutes at a time. We didn’t know how we were going to do nights because she usually sleeps 10-12 hours when swaddled. The first nap I tried this transitional swaddle she slept for 2 hours! That first night using it she slept for 12 hours! I highly recommend this product. It was like there was no transition at all. Was looking for a sleep sack that would help my baby girl transition out of the swaddle - she was an early roller (11-12 weeks), so we knew we had to do this ASAP. The swaddle sleeves definitely help provide comfort and calm the morro reflex which is still very prominent. The sleep sack is definitely high quality and the fabrics are soft/stretchy. My only comment would be that I wish the swaddle band inside could get tighter. My girl is pretty lean and with arms out, the swaddle band is loose around her midsection.
Tried this for my 4 month old. Unfortunately, she wouldn’t even go to sleep and typically she falls asleep quickly but wakes due to her hands. Disappointed that I spent $100 on a sleep sack we can’t use and is non refundable even though it was only worn for about 30 minutes
With every other swaddle we used, our little one would be squiggling his arms out and waking himself up. We really liked how there is an inner band that will keep him feeling safe and sleeping. We have recently started using the sleeves as well - it is easy to get his arm in and it's a super well thought out design. The transition swaddle has been a sleep saver - highly recommend this product!
I ordered this sleep sack one night in desperation - my daughter had started to roll over both ways so it was time to have arms out of the sleep sack, but we tried cold turkey and she was waking several times at night after previously being an amazing sleeper. The fact that she will be fine if she rolls over in her sleep in this sleep sack brings me so much peace of mine. She doesn’t wake up all night like she was with arms out cold turkey so it’s definitely helped so much. So thankful for this solution!
Got this when my 3 month old started showing signs of rolling. Arrived within the week, and it has been great! She has slept well in it and had very little disturbance to her usual sleep patterns transitioning from a traditional swaddle to these swaddle sleeves. I was bummed that the sleep pod was sold out in her size, but customer service recommended this product to me and it's been great. I just swaddle around her chest with her old Velcro swaddles to still give her the snugness and warmth of a swaddle, but we probably won't need to do that for much longer. Very grateful for a product like this that doesn't cause her to overheat! I just ordered the other onesie for warmer weather & to have as a backup--I like that the onesie options can be dressed up or down to accommodate the temperature. I recommend this product to anyone looking for help during the transition from the swaddle!
This sleep sack is the perfect way to transition from an arms-up swaddle! My daughter can easily hold her own pacifier in using the sleeves, but I feel good that she can move her arms down and around in case she rolls. It's just warm enough for cozy nighttime sleep without being too warm.

My baby has now slept through the night and one stretch was 9 hours!! She is very comfortable in this swaddle because she loves to self soothe. Highly recommend this wonderful product!!!
I’ve been searching for the right sleep sack for my 4 month old. With my two other children, I couldn’t seem to find one that checked all my boxes. I’m so thankful to have found Two Baby Bears and Co! I wish this was invented when my other two were babies. It has made switching from a swaddle to a sleep sack so much easier! I know it’s pricey, but it comes with 2 sets of sleeves and it’s absolutely so worth it!
This transition sack has been helpful for my baby who was starting to roll but has very busy arms when she sleeps! Worth the price has worked effectively for my 13 week busy baby!
My little one loves the swaddle sleeves! You can tell he feels so cuddly and comforted in it! I needed something that allowed him to have his hands but was still safe for rolling and would still give that extra comfort on his arms that a regular sleep sack doesn’t. I bought the body suit since the size I needed in the sleep sack was sold out. Now that we’ve tried it and LOVE it, I really want to get the sleep sack once it’s back in stock in our size!
We absolutely love our star sleeve sack! My 5 month old was waking herself up a lot moving her arms and we could tell this sack helped her immediately. And then she also has a tendency to scratch her head due to eczema so the covered hands was an added bonus. We highly recommend!
I purchased because my baby was having a hard time transitioning out of a traditional swaddle with both of her arms out. This has significantly helped with her being able to have a restful sleep. My baby definitely fights me to get the sleeves on, but I’m sure on time we’ll both get use to it. Once they are on she’s perfectly content and happy.
My little peanut was constantly moving her arms and startling herself awake. Our little one could roll and needed his arms out for sleeping. Other sleep sacks he has tried allowed his arms to move too much, causing him to wake up. The swaddle sleeves on Two Bears is the answer we have been looking for! The swaddle sleeves allow full movement for rolling, but the padding slows down his arm movements and makes transferring a sleeping baby to the crib lots easier. We have already purchased 2 more sleep products with a variety of zip sleeves. It worked for our baby, hopefully it helps your baby! 10/10 recommend.
My baby recently started to roll over so we had to stop swaddling her and it made putting her down in her crib impossible because her little arms would flail and wake her. We tried EVERYTHING I spent SO much money on different arms out swaddles and sleep sacks. The baby Merlin one was the worst. We live in Arizona where it's very hot and needed something light on her body that still held her arms pretty decently still. Thank god we found this swaddle! The extra hug from the inside pod helps her feel secure. The first night she wore it she slept 6 hours straight! It's so light we don't feel like it's too warm. We love it
I was so nervous about transitioning out of the swaddle and didn’t want to use a big heavy bodysuit like the Merlin because it’s way too hot where I live for that. I was SO grateful to have found this product! It doesn’t restrict my kiddo at all, he can still get his fingers to his mouth easily, but it helps him sleep better without being woken by the startle reflex. Highly recommend!
